RESIDENZA LA BIFORA
This portion of Palazzo Petroni, once a servants’ residence, was built above the Arco del Mostaccio, in the oldest part of Trevi. Today it has been restructured by the Tulli Mugnoz family to make holiday apartments that maintain the medieval style.
In Trevi, Umbria, between Spoleto and Assisi, in the medieval heart, above the arch of the Mostaccio, there is the residence La Bifora, composed of 5 very characteristic apartments and studios, with exposed beams, coffered ceilings, authentic walls, many of them with a view of the valley, the olive groves and the roofs of the city.
The apartments are all recently renovated, self-contained and tastefully furnished.
La Bifora is just a few steps from the city main square, but at the same time is in a comfortable, quiet and secluded place. The Residence takes its name from a Bifora: a window of medieval architecture overlooking the romantic and secret alleys of Trevi.
Trevi is a beautiful medieval village, perched on a hill, awarded by the Orange Flag of the Touring Club, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, it is at the center of the Via di San Francesco, is immersed in the olive-range Assisi – Spoleto, recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural policies, such as ‘Historical and rural heritage’ and officially nominated to be among the Giahs sites.
One of the reasons to choose to stop here is to live, even for only a few hours, in a dimension of other times with unique characteristics: slowness, silence, away from large commercial flows. Here you can buy traditional products, including the precious extra virgin olive oil dop Umbria, directly from the producers.
